Partnering for innovation | Ecohog
Ecohog design and manufacture recycling equipment for waste processors worldwide, with their main markets being GB, Europe, and East Coast USA.
They were awarded the £5k Innovation Voucher from Invest NI which allowed them to form knowledge partnerships with Ulster University Magee and South West College.
One of the vouchers helped Ecohog carry out physical and chemical analysis on material recovered by their waste separation machinery.
This led to the redesign of equipment to optimise material outputs for its customers.
As well as helping develop and improve products, this process built relations with knowledge providers, and made the company more aware of the support available for business innovation.
