KTP has brought together companies, academics and graduates for over 40 years now. 

Using these partnerships has proved very effective for businesses across many sectors and of different sizes when it comes to innovation.

KTP combines expertise from all three groups to apply innovative ideas and solve existing problems unique to the business.

Kestrel Foods in Craigavon, who produce, package and supply natural fruit and nut snacks including the Forest Feast brand, needed new skills and processes to increase the diversity and innovation of their products.

They have had support from, a recent graduate working in the business, Queens University Belfast, and the College of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE).

The KTP has brought innovation to the business, broadening its range of products by introducing new equipment, processes and skills for staff at Kestrel Foods.
